SMALL BUT IMPORTANT HISTORY MADE

On January 27th and 28th,  fifty of Canada's leading experts in the field of addiction recovery, treatment, medicine, education and research came together in Ottawa for the first National Summit on Addiction Recovery.   Their aim was to create and present a collective vision of recovery in Canada.

At 10am on January 28th, the group reached consensus.

The attached document outlines that consensus.

I want to thank Minister Rona Ambrose and all of the staff of the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse for supporting Recovery and all that work to achieve it.
